International Maduro said on Saturday that cyber attacks against Venezuela’s electricity system, had come from U.S

I know Guaido has said he wants to allow private companies to exploit Vezenuela's oil. People find that suspicious i.e. foreign interference. But he's also mentioned the plan would involve the private companies paying royalties, which is pretty standard. Even if foreign actors are trying to install a more business-friendly government, it would probably be a win-win. It's only a lose for competing oil-producing countries.

Im pretty sure whatever Guaido sets up will be far more fair than whatever deal Russia and China have with Venezuela and lets not even talk about the deal they have with Cuba because thats not really a deal, thats tribute.

Maduro would blame Murican assasination attempt if he tripped on a rock and hurt his knees. I'm sure years of neglect had nothing to do with the electric grid failing..

I don't think Maduro should be who you are skeptical of, after watching the border aid, fake news saga.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of you dumb motherfuckers in this thread would believe that a 1993 Honda Civic's OEM car radio could be hacked via Bluetooth.

I've seen some dumb-assery in the WR, but this... Holy moly...

Yes you are right about that. But their economy is also targeted. We’ve applied pressure.

We can’t assume that a nation can just go and nationalize its industry and rob billions from extremely wealthy and influential Americans and not be punished for it.

Yes they have had issues with their power grid. However, by basic game theory, both of their recent large power outages cannot he viewed as an accident. Such large ones at just the right places on their grid and at such a time cannot he overlooked. Which is exactly why Russians recently flew in military specialists to help the grid.

The pressure continued, the CIA stooge is calling for more demonstrations on Wednesday. One side actually wants chaos and turmoil, dare I even say bloodshed.

While Maduro is best served by peace and tranquility. Keep that in mind
You can nationalize and buy out industry but when you just take it there is going to be expected push back

Poor attempt at dodging. Try harder.

You claim Maduro was elected, well soo was Stalin, Mao and most dictators in the world for that matter. Rigged elections don't mean shit. Just because Murica has a shady history, doesn't mean the other side is telling the truth.

Stalin and Mao were democratically elected? Please elaborate on that.

Maduro's election was about as legitimate as those of Mao and Stalin. You have a funny sense of what a democratic election looks like. Hint: It must not be rigged.

Venezuelan socialist dynamo has reached such levels that there is no need for electricity anymore!

Our sanctions and our pressure to the international system to not trade with Venezuela certainly helped lead to that.

Those are the INTENTIONS behind such cruel actions. We force people to suffer, to put pressure on the government we target for destruction.

It’s evil in every way possible. No defense for it.

Why doesn't everyone see this clear as day?

U.S. sanctions may be a contributing factor to the people suffering but Maduro and his cronies caused 99% of the suffering U.S. sanctions only came after Maduro started shooting protestors.

Personally I think the U.S. should just drop the sanctions and leave them to fall apart on their own

Except that Stalin and Mao were not elected. So please explain what you meant with their elections?

Did you just fart and the number 99% came out?

How do you know it was not 80/20, or even 50/50?

Or are you just phrasing your gut feeling on the issue as a fact?

Did you know that you can't get an IV in Venezuela at the moment in most cases? Is it because of Maduro who denies these services to the population or is it because of the Murrcan-led embargo that such supplies are scarce in Venezuela?

Legit question I don't have the answer. But you must have researched the topic since you are citing figures as facts.

Or are you just farting around "99%"'s ?

If 1 country putting sanctions on some members of your government can cause what's happening in Venezuela then it's a good bet your country is already royally screwed.

The facts are that selective socialism works in plenty of countries around the world but when you nationalize everything by force and let idiots and yes men run it then don't be surprised when shit breaks down and complicated hydro-electric plants stop working.

Also anyone can make up statistics 14% of people know that.

Meh bunch of posters avoiding questions itt and talking out of their asses.

Venezuela did not need the USA to become a piece of shit but as usual Murrcans are not willing (or able?) to recognise the consequences of their government's actions.

But but he's a dictator. Yeah ok there.

Fuck this thread.

Are you trying to argue that without the sanctions the Venezuelan government would be able to afford to purchase resources?

Reasonable people are skeptical of a cyber-attack on a system that is not connected to the internet. It's a question of logic.

Sanctions began in 23 Jan, at that moment Venezuela was already the craphole that it is today.

The failure of Guri dam has absolutely nothing to do with sanctions either, but lack of repair.

@abiG @Happy Man

Found a video of socialists sowing rice to gain "Food sovereignty".

So what CIA plot do you think will be blamed when nothing grows?

I wonder what will happen first, socialists admiting their system is trash or hell freezing over? To think that Venezuela used to be a breadbasket nation.
