Dern's takedowns are pretty awful but it's not like Tecia has good takedown defence by any means, pretty much everyone who's tried to take her down has succeeded. I'm pretty sure Dern can get her down at least once, and in a 3 round fight that could be enough to steal a round or 2 and win.

While Torres is getting older (as are we all), what makes you say she's getting muscle-bound? Her physique has changed very little since early in her career, and cardio has always been one of her greatest strengths.

She literally just finished a body building contest where she looks more swoll then ever. But even before that she was much bigger in recent fights then when she entered the ufc.

I didn't hear what she weighed in that fitness competition, but it looked to me like she may have cut enough weight that she could've fought as an atomweight.
