Now let's see them use some of the Karate/TKD hard blocks and hand techniques and low stances.
It's not just the training that sucks...many of the techniques just plain don't work. You can't just take a TKD spinning back kick used to win a fight and say "see TKD works!". No you have to use their shitty hand techs also...and let me know how that works out for you.
At least TKD has a few good things, many TMAs like Wing Chun border on completely useless. They can't seem to get their techs to work at all without that MT/BJJ base, then they work some low percentage techniques in there and get all excited. Sure, it's easy to give that straight blast a shot when you know you aren't going straight to the ground to get mounted. Does that mean Wing Chun is a great style to study? Not to me.
People cross train all sorts of stuff just to get SMALL PARTS of their TMA to work at all...why bother?
