I just wait to see what the council of trusted Sherbros says. That's the only reason I gave Split a chance and that worked out well. Really liked that movie.

This. The only critic who's opinion I care about is the Lord of House Dragon, First of his Name. And even then I'll make up my own mind about the movie.

RT can go suck a dick

I thought this show was great. Solid performances all around. I loved the Sam Jackson character, and it seems like he was having a good time playing the role too. Even Bruce Willis was good. McAvoy is a really good actor. Great thoughtful comic book superhero movie, but I don't really like the Marvel popcorn stuff.

8/10 for me

Haven't seen it, but the way they're playing up the "superhero" aspect in the trailers turns me off. That was a theme of "Unbreakable" that was just there for people to figure out while watching it. It was subtle. The promotion for this flick is just a little too on the nose, and it comes across really forced and lame. A bit of a red flag for me.

'Glass' Getting Better Reviews From Fans Than Critics
Nobody paying attention to what a political shitshow industry film criticism has become in this country is surprised.

The "critics" are worthless, folks. Worthless. Film criticism is dead. You gotta go watch for yourself.

I had that thought when I first saw reviews. I have a feeling I'll really like this movie. Unexciting? Count me in. Those dumbasses have just gotten too used to CGI shitstorms.

And hyperliberal #woke political agenda movies.

IMDB score = 4.9/10.0 (916 votes)
RottenTomatoes = 98% positive (82 reviews)

Hands down the greatest discrepancy I've ever seen in history. They're doing it with every film, too, that is politically liberal, but in particular those with a racial angle. This is why Black Panther is getting GG nominations instead of the infinitely superior Infinity War.

@Madmick seems to be on a mission to trash professional critics every chance he gets. Even more than the average moviegoer.

Did a roaming gang of critics vandalize your house or something?

I actually stopped trusting them a while back they even gave the orville a bad score

Funny how you mention "The Orville" which they initially had at something 36%. It's now advertised as 100% on their shows list, with a whopping 9 reviews. LOL. They just discounted all the negativity, to make it seem like they had it right all along.

Now in fairness, that might've just been for season 2, but still, they're trying to tell me that everyone just stopped reviewing the show, and they now only have 9 reviews eligible to be counted? Such obvious manipulation.

Just popping in this thread to say I haven't read a goddamn word of it in many months. Haven't seen a single frame of a trailer for GLASS, haven't read the articles, don't know the details. I've only seen the poster, and to be honest I'm kinda pissed I even saw that. I don't understand people who want to spoil pieces of the plot, surprises, energy, etc. of a film before they see it.

Especially something as big as this one: I'm a week away from the most anticipated movie of my life so far (no pressure), & I barely know anything about it. That's how it should be, I think.

/rant

Anyway I look forward to reading through this whole thread, and any possible responses to this post, in a week.

Cheers y'all, & enjoy the ride

I only watched Unbreakable years ago when it was released on DVD. I read the plot synopsis of Split and Glass and I have to say it ends with a small fart instead of a bang. I will not be watching the other two.

Black Panther is the jerk off video for closet racists to pretend they are "woke."

There should be a Rotten Tomatoes Critic Review Flowchart.
"Did a highly anticipated movie you been interested receive overwhelmingly negative reviews from RT critics?"
Yes [X] No [ ]
|
"Did this same renowned and respected critics like The Last Jedi?"
Yes [X] No [ ]
|
Disregard their opinion at once and see the movie for yourself. The movie is likely good and will be received and appreciated by the majority of audiences.
