C'mon, Lyoto, hang the gloves up. You've had a great career--no need to add more damage to your body or losses to your record.

I know almost nothing about Anders, but I'm picking him because he's 10 years younger; is a very good athlete (you don't start as linebacker for Alabama if you're not); has had very little damage (at least from MMA, not sure about football) and enough experience/training to find a way to finish Machida.

Yeah, I don't like that fight either, though Machida would've destroyed Bisping 5-10 years ago. Still, a loss to a guy who was just champ (regardless of the circumstances) is a lot better than to an unknown guy.
