Stop putting words in my mouth, u snake. Marquadt and Okami , imo , were not elite fighters. I said Shields was an elite grappler and made fun of his stand up. I never said he was or wasn't as a whole.Marquadt was a top tier 185er for a short while when UFC 185 division was rather thin. He probably lost more relevant fights than he won. Okami " pretty much " the same thing. He lost to Rich and Anderson ( really twice)....and then dropped down to welter and he was underwhelming there.
Are u covid positive ,my friend.

You are entittled to your opinion. You can have a biased opinion but you can't change the facts:
Marquardt beat top ranked Misaki in 2004 (more convincingly than Hendo did btw) - KOed Woodley for the WW belt in 2012 - in between, a UFC tittle shot in 2007 and title eliminators in 2008 and 2010 . That's a span of 8 years being top tier at any point of it.
>Fact - Marquardt was a top tier 170-185lber for a span of 8 years
>Franklin U - "top tier 185er for a short in a thin division"
Okami beat top ranked Shields (watch the fights, not fightfinder checks) at WW in 2006 - was ranked #3 MW in 2013 - in between, a UFC tittle shot in 2011, another one in 2008 withdrawn for injury, and tittle eliminators in 2007 and 2010. Tha'ts a span of 8 years being top tier at any point of it

lol so you pretend to throw around such simpleton and flawed brief on the career of a long time top contender and somehow it becomes close to be true? And you are the educated fan! You are ignorant, friend
You weren't even aware - let alone watched- of Shields vs Okami in 2006 at WW, much less you are that Okami dominated Falaniko Vitale back in 2004 in one of the most gross hometown decisions you can find. Vitale had just beat Menne and Lindland months before, he was top10 ranked at that point.
Hardcore fans who watch the actual fights regarded Okami as an elite since at least 2006 because they DID see Okami kicking the ass of a top5 WW (including the commentators and the American crowd in attendance that booed the decision).
Okami was Shields toughest fight in that mytical winning streak that GSP put to an end, and you didn't even know about it. It didn't hold any weight at all in your "opinion", literally just as much as if it had never happened.
2006-2013 top tier 170-185lber. ¿Short time in a tiny division or rather your opinion is based on simpleton analysis and biased facts?
By the way, Okami came back to WW at 35, completely washed up and with no chin anymore. It's not rellevant at all and you pointing that out just comes to show one more time that you need to get a grip
