Media Luke Thomas live reaction to Leon shooting for a TD against Brady

Not seen the main event yet. It can’t have been worse than Vucenic’s against Duncan, can it?

Yes and no. Vucenic's was worse in the sense that it literally looked like he was starting to get the better on the feet on a gassing Duncan and then shot himself into getting finished shortly thereafter.

But you can argue Leon's is worse in the sense that he's actually a former world champion and goes out there and does a boneheaded move like that.

Leon doesn't have heart. I don't care what anyone says. He's a quitter.

Yea maybe. I dunno. I think historically, he’s hung in there. Won that Usman fight super late when he was clearly losing. Belal took him to the wood shed, but he didn’t give up. He actually had his best round late in that fight and busted Belal open.

I think it might be a combination of Leon getting older and Sean being a monster coming into his prime.

Lol, it was my exact reaction as well.

What the fuck???

I was actually thinking "maybe he got hit with a jab and felt? He can't be this dumb."

He was.

He hung in there. But only with his coaches begging him to. He's a good technical fighter, but he folds when bullied.

Clearly Leon's weakness is his mind. I'm sure he has all the tools of a champion, given the first round in the first fight against Usman, the kickboxing against Belal in the first fight before the eyepoke...But the point IS that he's good until he's not, he's clearly the least consistent guy skillwise in a fight (almost got KO by Diaz in rnd 5 ffs).

Wow... Luke Thomas is still a thing?

I've been out the loop... I'd completely forgotten he existed.

Kind of wish I hadn't remembered that he does exist.

Leon is mentally weak and pretty regularly crumbles in his fights/ makes terrible decisions.
Don't give a fuck what anyone says, he got very lucky against Usman and only won either of those fights because Usmans knees are totally shot + out of his prime.

Leon had a very competitive fight with Donald Cerrone, he's not one of the very best in the world.

Guy spends most of his fights completely lethargic and slow.
Does he have an undiagnosed health condition or something, is he diabetic and he needs his insulin shot?
Other than brief spurts of action towards the end of the fights its like he is in quick sand.

Pretty much my exact reaction too.
