Yes he comes off as pretentious. Yes he is overly obsequious with Israel but bruh, Luke is the best mf in the game. Ariel has clout but has zero fight analysis skills. So yes ariel is a good "insider", but apart from that luke is more versatile. Much more versatile. The only person who come close is Jack slack imo. Luke brings a lot more to the table. Just to address your points:

. Fighters indeed CAN stand him. In fact apart from jones (who has issues), Ali abdelaziz fighters, most fighters fuck with luke thomas heavy bro heavy. Israel frequents his podcast, as does holloway, DC shows up at times, valentina fucks with him, jorge fucks with him, as do reyes ;gaethje ;blaydes; colby; sandhagen; sterling and fucking gsp. Dude luke thomas is respected, has clout and is well liked in the fight game. Let's not lie on the man.

. As for success after mma fighting... He's had plenty. Started his own channel, worked up 100k, started morning kombat, happy with his life, getting paid more, has a full time CBS gig and now most of the mma fighting on sbn OGs are gone now. So... Platform had a problem not luke clearly.

But once again, the acrimony in your post suggests that you're speaking in jest and you've pulled a fast one on me. If so let me know. Otherwise put some respect in Luke's name bruh. He's the realest in the game by fucking far.

But dude it's all true. I know you hate the guy. Same way I hate colby. But when someone's good at their job it does you no good to shit on them. For instance I have no issue admitting colby is probably the second best welterweight in the UFC. And the only person who ever had me worried for usman. Same way I hate dana white with a passion but I gotta admit, I'm super impressed with his effort to reopen the ufc and keep everyone safe. He fucking killed it there. It shouldn't be that hard for you to admit that. Lighten up a little. Light up a joint, take some shrooms, be happy. Luke is one of the good guys.

Look whilst, you can call him an sjw cuck or whatever, I respect the fact that he's willing to call things out and address them. People claim that "media" is left leaning (it is), but so many mma media members and fighters either outright refuse to talk about social justice issues or downplay them.

For instance, I'm willing to be corrected, but chael never said shit about the George floyd murder. Does that make chael automatically racist? No. Does talking about it make chael a good person? No. But it's better than radio silence and perceived apathy. I hate joe rogan as well. Can't fucking stand him and I think he's absolutely full of shit and flip flops depending on how "alpha" (fucking hate that word), his guest is. One episode he'll literally rant about injustice, next episode he'll be bigging jocko willink up for downplaying the issue. But at least he talks about.

It is refreshing to hear Luke who actually calls shit out as is, a person who doesn't try to sugar coat it for overly sensitive bro flakes who always want to point fingers and call others "snowflakes". Someone has to do it. Nobody else has the balls to do it. And I respect him, partially because of that. It sucks being maligned as an SJW, pussy ass snowflake, cuck, insert whatever insult people throw at him, but if everyone else is either so soft in their approach, a fencesitter or just too damn conservative to see past their nose, someone needs to shake shit up and call out the nonsense.

Sports are inherently political. You cannot separate the two. It is impossible bro. Not a rant. Just wanted to address a misconception about the dude that I see everywhere. No he's NOT infallible, he's said some idiotic things as well, ridiculous shit over the years but if you weight the good vs the bad. He's clearly good for mma, despite what everyone else says. He's generally a good mma analyst. I prefer he stay in that lane as the young kids say. I don't want to hear his take on the social fabric in America. Joe is a two faced SOB, i havent listened to his in years, and i started listening from the very beginning.
