It is refreshing to hear Luke who actually calls shit out as is, a person who doesn't try to sugar coat it for overly sensitive bro flakes who always want to point fingers and call others "snowflakes". Someone has to do it. Nobody else has the balls to do it. And I respect him, partially because of that. Sports are inherently political. You cannot separate the two. It is impossible bro. Not a rant. Just wanted to address a misconception about the dude that I see everywhere. No he's NOT infallible, he's said some idiotic things as well, ridiculous shit over the years but if you weight the good vs the bad. He's clearly good for mma, despite what everyone else says. On the other hand, a 5 year old white boy gets executed in front of his sisters playing outside his house by a black man and no one reports this or cares. Where is Cuck Thomas now?

Fuck all of this. I hate when I turn on ESPN to check in on what's going on in the sports world and all that is on is Stephen A. Smith trying to give the world a lesson in social justice. MMA journalists have zero responsibility to report on politics, because that's not the area they specify in; nor is it an area that the fans tuning in expect them to report on.

Imo sports reporters that bring up politics are equivalent to that asshole that always brings up politics at a party. It used to be considered rude to bring up politics or religion in mixed company like that, because it usually ends up with somebody getting upset or offended. Imo the same manners should apply to social media unless you work directly for a campaign and are trying to promote it.
