in his prime he would.

He'd probably beat isreal easily in his prime.
 
He isn't wrong. He'd make Pereira look like a child on the ground. We'll have to see what he looks like against a grappler before assuming he'd survive someone's like Luke's ground game.

I don’t think he can get Poatan down and he is likely to be KO’d really really bad.
 
He did say 10 seconds on the ground. Problem with MMA is it starts on the feet and Luke has the chin of a dead zombie and wouldn't last 5 minutes with any UFC fighter

I say let him bang. When he fights it’s entertaining. He is the ultimate just bleed sacrifice. He has given us some of the best unconscious versions of himself as well as sacrificed his front teeth. I’ll watch everything he fights.
 
Soundz like he needs a loved one to stage an intervention. He had a good career & can probably still model. Moving along gracefully is something a good psychologist could help him with.

Luke has lost more important fights than he's won, at this point.

His "if I was on the ground with him" comments about Pereira presupposes he could GET Pereira on the ground.

Luke Rockhold actually lost the ground exchanges with Costa. His ground game isn't even when it was anymore.

On the feet? Please. Rockhold is nothing compared to Pereira.

I don't think Luke Rockhold has the takedown ability to even get Alex Pereira on the ground in today's game.

Rockhold's weakness literally is "the left hook" ... and he has never faced anyone with the height, reach, and POWER of Alex Pereira's left hook.

It's an easy fight to predict, with more shadface images of Rockhold incoming.
 
tired of hearing about Luke's mythical ground game at this point. he hasn't subbed anyone in like 10 years and all he does now is stand in front of someone and get the shit kicked out of him. the last time he got someone down and did anything with it was against David Branch, who is not good
 
Pereira has one of the best left hooks we have ever seen in MMA.

Not a particularly great matchup for a guy who has lost many many times by way of eating left hands.
