Ofc he's right, but you didn't finish reading our exchange.

As I told him, fraction as a word has a math meaning and a general meaning. The general meaning is a part, a dash, a piece, a smidgen, a spot, a fragment.... and so on. What are you not getting?

How are you not getting the joke?

Aside from the Reyes Fight, Weidman was arguably winning all those fights and he faced a line-up of killers. He got caught against the elite, it happens, and he even beat Gastelum and Omari so I'd say his planning was working well, he just couldn't avoid the killing blow to reach the bell.

Hope he comes back soon. Would be glorious to see Rockhold start climbing up the ranks again and hear him talk more.
 
Not a fan of Luke; but don't want to see him get brutally KO'd in a fight that will do nothing for the sport.

He won a world title.
That makes his career elite compared to 99% of the others UFC fighters that have ever been on the roster.

I'd keep modeling; and maybe compete in grappling competitions.

You misunderstood me. Weidman had a killer line up of opponents but they were the wrong ones at the wrong time. Romero was the worst decision of them all. He desperately needed to take some time off after his beat downs and get back with easier fights but he was used up the worst possible way. Boxers understand this that you have to build yourself up again after a brutal loss. Confidence and skill are also physical parameters you have to gain back.

Weidman with a better career planning would have imo been champ again. Such a talent.

Costa by brutal ko, even a over weight and drunk Costa can land hard shots on Marvin no way Rockhold can take those type of shots.
 
Pulling for Luke but I sure ain't betting any money on him lol.
 
Not exactly holding my breath, but I'd like to see him in the Octagon again soon.
 
Costa finishes any version of Rockhold. Rockhold's footwork has never been great, and his ability to take opponents down is pretty awful. Costa would beat his body and crush him.
 
Costa is a volume striker that tries to drown his opponents with heavy shots. He doesn't have KO power like Romero or Cannonier but he is heavy handed and throws far more.

However, against Rockhold, his heavy handedness is dialed up to become KO power due to Rockhold's atrocious chin and defense. This means Rockhold will be fighting someone who can knock him out with one punch... but throws like 50 a round. Costa's a nightmare matchup for someone like Luke.
 
I didn't think Rockhold could fight someone I like even less than him. I don't know what would happen, but I would definitely want Luke to win.
