Why does anyone get a tattoo at all?

You put yourself through a bunch of pain to make an ugly ink stain on your body.

They look extra stupid on some people in particular but even a good tattoo is still usually worse looking than no tattoo.

Women don't still get tramp stamps AFAIK. That was an early-mid 2000's trend. Chicks today get upper back or rib cage tat. I don't think it carries the same stigma.

Yea, that's a lot more common.

Not as slutty looking but a deterrent nonetheless (to me). Something about a girl who permanently marks her body in a particular style because it's "trendy" at one period of time doesn't sound like the best long term material. I wonder how many people from the 90s covered up those barb-wire bicep tatts.
