Sure, they all "get the job done" but there are a lot of other considerations to take into account, specifically durability and whether stickers will peel off after one session. Stitching makes a difference, and so does sizing.

All that said, most of them are made with the same basic materials, so there really isn't going to be a huge difference except in design, sizing, and build quality. I don't really think any are better/worse when it comes to heat transfer, since that's a property of the material and most use similar if not identical materials.

Hell, most of 'em are probably made in the same factories and just have different logos put on at the end of the line :icon_chee
 
As far as durability goes I think it depends on how people in your gym roll. I own a shitload of rashguards so maybe they haven't tested time as much as using 1 rashguard every 3 days or something but they are all in great quality. Logo durability is an issue I careless about since I'm not a billboard to begin with. I think it just depends on how you like the fit. My favorite rashguard right now is this 30 dollar one I got from Billabong haha.
 
I dont know, but the nogi keeps me cooler than the walmart one. walmart heats me up, so I wouldnt like it for training.
 
The nogi rashguards are a wonderful value-- I have two, and would readily buy more-- they are thin, transport sweat off of you quickly without weighing down, and have a nice, non-restrictive fit. And pretty cool designs. And for what thirty bucks? Crazy value.

if loose fits are your thing, then I would certainly recommend the new style sprawl loose fits with the wicking/vent panels. A little pricier, but quite nice-- I wrote a review on these a while back, if you check the review forum.

You have the right idea, bro. I have spent hundreds of dollars on "cool" rashguards. Now, I go to Ross or Marshalls or Burlington Coat Factory and look through the racks. I have like five new rash guards and didn't spend more than eight bucks on any of them. Plus there are a ton of hotties that hang out there. Its a win/win!
 
if you want really cheap just get an a fake underarmor from wal-mart

I am planning to buy two, so which should I buy? I have a slight beer gut, and I'd like something that doesnt gush it out like a damn muffin top. I'm 5'8, at about 149 lbs. Which size for the above 3 companies should I order? Thanks guys.

rashguard is a rashguard, i get mine at target $9 per long and short sleave, quality is just as good as any rashguard.

I hadn't thought about Ross, and when I read this post I went straight there. Picked up a bunch of Nike DriFits for about $14 each. They work great and keep me very cool.
