If getting punched in the liver or kidney hurts, imagine if it felt ten times as much pain. That's roughly what getting kicked or kneed in the groin feels like for a woman.

Here's the clitoris, in yellow. As you can see, there's a whole lot more going on than the part that can extend from the body (the glans). I'd explain a bit more, but I'm afraid I might get dubbed.

Well, to be fair, a testicle is actually something very much like kidney - an internal organ, but the one that hangs outside instead.


Lips and fingers also have shitload of nerve endings, and getting those crushed isn't quite as horribly debilitating as kick to teh balls, so there's clearly more factors in here, save simple nerves concentration.

That's actually a myth. A penis and a clitoris develop from the same tissue and have about the same amount of nerves. The studies that claim the penis has half of the nerve endings weren't actually accounting for the entire penis. Not to mention those studies neglect to factor in foreskin.

I've seen it a couple of times. There's one fight I remember in Invicta where it happened, and the crowd started to awkwardly giggle as if they didn't think a woman could be hurt from a low blow. Julie Kedzie then had to explain to viewers that it's sensitive down there and is painful for them to be hit there, too.

Obviously I don't know for sure but I'm guessing based on reactions it's about 1/4th as painful for women as it is for men.

But it's not the penis which usually hurts the most in a groin strike. It's the testes. And with men the organs are fully external and more exposed.
