Showtime execs have tested the waters with CBS and it worked out well
They want to bring Mayweather over to Showtime
They said they'd bring Canelo to CBS
We know Canelo will be on May's undercard
Mayweather wants an easy fight
CBS is the perfect place to showcase such a fight

I know simply logic doesn't look the same to boxing promoters but there's a little puzzle there I'd like them to figure out sometime.

This works for me before setting up Floyd vs. Canelo. This is the fight the Ghost has been calling out for and is a good paycheck for him and Floyd hasn't fought since beating Cotto and the Ghost is coming off a win over Berto, so this fight makes sense as a tune up fight for Floyd before getting a bigger fight against Canelo.
