Who takes the win tomorrow?

He's the biggest weight cutter at LW I'm pretty sure. He took over for Gleison Tibau and Khabib.

Yeah man lol one of those guys were on these forums way back hahaha legendary thread.

Lol I was meant to quote @BoxerMaurits not myself haha.

Yeah those guys were on here or at least one of them was way back then. Funny as fuck thread.

Women pay plastic surgeons good money to look like that these days. Just look at that girl from 'The Boys'

He's massive for his weightclass so I assume every cut is brutal for him.

he would be perfect in a 165 division

I mean the best part of Dober is how big he as at 155. If he didn't have his size then he wouldn't really be that good.

"If Dober was more than 18 percent above lightweight, that means he stepped into the Octagon against Josh Burkman at around 183 pounds — 28 pounds greater than the 155-pound division. Dober knocked Burkman out in the first round."

Indeed, 18% makes him one of the biggest weight cutters. Ladd was famously 18%. Even Costa and Romero (185ers fighting each other at 213 & 207) came in less than 18%.

Now, that was a long time ago. Maybe he's changed since then. So I should say, of all the official gains from weigh-in to fight-night-weight, he has one of the highest recorded weight gains.

He would get absolutely tooled at 165lbs

Dober is only 5'8" and carries a lot of muscle. This is not a big frame for the division by any measure.

He could shed 5lbs of muscle if he wanted an easier water cut, but overly muscled guys often have an easier time cutting and re-hydrating. So far as frame goes, he is an average lightweight. Its his choice to be this jacked, but he seems to routinely make the weight without fuss.

He clearly needs Rizz Pharma

A couple Prime Hydration drinks and he’ll be good as new

Father time waits for no man.

Funny how you have to hit “peak misery” the day before you are expected to hit “peak performance”

And the misery is a week-long event most times

Respect to the competitors who thrive with minimal cutting
It is better for their bodies in the long run, and there's definitely a point of diminishing returns when it comes to cutting to be bigger than opponents. I remember James Irvin looking like death one time and he got thwomped pretty early.
