I've ate popeyes twice, and both times my order was fucked up and cold.
I love Popeyes. And Korean fried chicken is pretty good too, there are a couple of good places here (Baltimore, and Ellicott City). But Popeyes has the mashed potatoes and biscuits and shit. I am probably going to get some this week because of this thread.

does biscuits mean something different in 'murica or is it an athletic explosive thing?
i can't see how biscuits go with fried chicken
Can someone explain the difference between a kfc original recipe piece and popeye equivalent? Is it spicey?, or crispier or what?
Popeyes is A LOT crispier and has much better seasoning..
kfc skin is just grease and pepper..
here's a pic. kfc is on the left and popeyes on the right (obviously, cuz it's the right choice for fried chicken).

As Village Voice put it, "The crust on the Popeyes chicken is robust, seriously crisp, with a strange, rippled appearance that looks like crushed cornflakes. It's very salty and as crunchy as a potato chip, with structural integrity that lets you take a bite without all the skin coming off.
KFC's breading is pathetic. It's flaccid and weak, and will pull off in one grease-spattered bite. The supposed 11 herbs and spices are not discernible, except in a sprinkling of black pepper. It leaves a sandy residue on your tongue."
tell em bro

KFC<Popeye's<Bojangles<Church's<Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles
Anything who says otherwise, I seriously question their sanity.
No one outside of your little club cares about this shit.
Make your own jokes and references, stop leeching on to a great piece of media because you're not creative
KFC > Popeyes
