Look At My New Pitbull

Yes, and the reason you feel that way is because of your ignorance, you believe all the bullshit
I been around bully breeds for almost 5 decades and I been raising and rescuing them for almost 3 decades, I know what these animals are and I know what they are not
I think its safe to say that much real world experience makes me an expert, there is no gambling involved
Your statement is ignorant in itself. You assume people have had no contact with this breed.

My dog (a smallish cattle dog) was mauled to death when I was a teenager. I also have a friend who attempted to stop one mauling a child and it dragged him to the ground and attacked him. He had tendons severed in his left arm (now only has partial use) and he lost an eye.
I've also seen a woman's upper arm basically degloved of skin as she walked past one on a footpath.
So I haven't just dropped out of a tree and made up some opinions.

Dogs are like people and can be damaged when young affecting their later behaviour. Taking one into your family home that could be damaged is not the same as raising it as a pup.

You may have a good record with them but I'm sure you'll agree not everyone is a good owner of this breed bred for maximum capabilities in fighting and killing.

Yeah I don't like them but I think people that rescue dogs are great. Some rescues turn out really well...some do not.

Besides, it is sherdog tradition to rag on pitbulls. Just remember many people do have personal experience with these dogs and some of the shitty irresponsible owners that are attracted to the breed.

Sincerely, I hope it all goes well.
It's sad there are dogs in shelters and meet horrible ends and as a dog fan it bothers me as much as you.

Bro, you live in a sub human wasteland that time and evolution forgot, you got fucking spiders as big as Volkswagons over there, literally every day is a fight not to get eaten for you people

Im talking about America, society, civilization, post stone age luxuries

Fuck outta here trying to compare whatever rabid syphilitic mongrels you people call pets to our loving, cultured and sophisticated pooches

Ok. Murica is doing well right now and we should all strive for that lol.

Nothing says 'I love gambling' like taking a pitbull (whose history you don't know) home to the family.

Why are so many pits up for adoption I wonder?

In many places, landlords have a "no pit bulls" clause in their lease. If people have to move, they often have to give up their dogs. Another reason might be that the owners end up in prison.

Good job, Pete!

On the rescue and of the doggo herself!

I love a good, well-loved pittie.

My uncles each had a legendary pitbull when I was a wee child. At least they were legendary for me.

Pitbulls are very goofy dogs, so you'll have tons of fun.

Foxy Roxie is officially home!
Picked her up yesterday cause she had to stay at the dog pound until she was spayed
Fed her a nice dinner of boiled chicken breast and broth to help her recover from surgery and let her explore the house and backyard all evening and now she's laying here next to me snoozing away

Welp, its now officially been one whole year since I rescued my beloved Roxie Sox from the dog pound and what a year its been!
Contrary to what some of you fucking idiots thought, not only did she not murder me but she has thrived!
She went on to win Sherdogs Official 2024 Pet Of The Year Award and she has made so many friends here in our neighborhood as we go on our daily walks, everyone loves her outgoing playful personality
When I got her she was so timid and scared of everything but now she is big and bold and full of self confidence!
She loves making new doggie friends and taking lots of naps between treats and snacks
So in conclusion, thank you to everyone that has shown Roxie love over this past year, we both really appreciate it

How the heck did this teeny tiny little cutie patootie that I rescued from the dog pound one year ago blossom into this big ole giant meathead moose that I got on my hands today

❤️ 🐶 ❤️

That sounds like a good clause to put in the lease.

I had a Pitty before and he was the best dog ever. Sweetest little fella.

Anytime a new friend would come over…
