it's simply more inclusive to people who don't celebrate christmas. i don't think anyone is gonna flip out on whatever side if you say one and not the other

I may have missed a post or two in this thread but all I see is people arguing over crass commercialism under the guise of "Christmas"

How have all of you forgotten what Christmas is really about? It is our opportunity, as Christians, to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Instead of thinking about honouring the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, y'all focused on arguing about some market that is trying to sell people a bunch of stuff that don't need under the guise of honouring our Lord.

I understand that not everybody follows the path and that is perfectly ok. I will continue to love people of other faiths in this life and pray for them in the next.

What does disappoint me is people who claim to be Christians but treat Christmas as a pagan gift giving holiday because that is what corporations have convinced them to do.
