It’s quite clear from the renaming of the market itself and the sheepish response of the traders that there’ll be ramifications.

I assume they’d lose their license and stall spot.

Christians are too tolerant of people who want their religion to be removed from society. They used to push their religion and fight back against people who slandered it, often annoyingly so (using similar tactics that the woke movement does today, pushing it in media, censorship and cancelling people). It seems like there's been a complete 180 of power though and now they are complacent with people completely undermining and mocking their entire religion and sometimes even thanking them for it. Combined with the rise of secularism in the past few decades, I don't see Christianity in the west doing much better with such open mockery and disenfranchisement.

Im not sure why Christians would want to celebrate a pagan holiday like Christmas anyway. The God of the Bible specifically forbids it.
