Lombard, Anderson Krypton?

People were asking the same question even a couple years back (unless my perception of time has really gotten away from me)

The answer is still no, for all Lombard's power, Anderson will make him look like Chris Leben
 
He is too static while he fights. Anderson would picked him apart from the distance and KO him whenever he wants. Not really a threat from my point of view. Weidman and his wrestling are more of a threat.
 
Lombard might be explosive and stronge but i dont trust his accuracy and silva would literally counter punch him to coma

... easily in the top 10 baddest men on the planet. i think he could legitimately beat at least half the hw's you listed and all the lhw's you can throw his way sans maybe jones but we will have to wait and see on that one. just cuz hw's hit hard doesnt mean they are going to connect or be quick enough to keep pace with a guy that isnt that much terribly smaller than an average size hw.
 
Lombard just lumbers forward playing patty cake with his lead hand. That's only going to work if you have the longer reach like Jones. Anderson would destroy him.

Lombard looked impressive. Let's not get too excited though. We need to see how he does against Bisping or another good striker.

I want to see it because Lombard is a striker and Anderson is the best when it comes to striking. Enough with the wrestlers for a while. Put a heavy handed striker in front of Anderson then sit back and enjoy.
 
Yeah moving in straight lines, throwing looping shots is the way to beat Anderson...Bitch he would get Griffin'd.
