People shit on Kung Fu for having animal-based styles (crane, monkey, etc.) but at the end of the day the ancient Chinese were among the first few to implement "meuvement" to martial arts. Bruce Lee stripped away most of it when he was conceiving JKD...and since Bruce was and is an inspiration to many mixed martial artists, "meuvement" was rarely implemented in a fighter's repertoire.

Now modern mixed martial artists are rediscovering "meuvement"...it's history repeating itself.
