When Penn lost to Edger the UFC went down this road as to why to make rematches with Penn, Edger, Henderson. Other important fighters were not marketed and now even with a new champion nobody cares who and when he fights. UFC is close to doing it again with FW belt and maybe even WW and MW.

If their strategy backfires they will cut the roster by 100 fighter by the end of the year.

Sometimes instant rematches really isn't a good thing for some fighters. It's a gamble because if you lose your going to be Edgar territory.

If rda didn't get hurt and either beat Conor, or Conor won the belt, you wouldn't be saying this

I think the belt is legit with RDA.

Belts don't always have to mean something.

A lot of dudes got a belt, then lost the belt. What exactly is it supposed to symbolize anyway?

Can you make a single post without being a hipster

But it did so I am saying it. Now RDA is irrelevant
Well you are EXTREMELY short sighted if you think a single injury makes a divisions championship irrelevant AND what do rematches have to do with that? Sounds like you don't really know what you're talking about and I feel sorry for you. I'll keep you in my prayers
