Elections Liberal tears and meltdown thread

I said it was too early to call in the Biden/Trump race, and I think we should always consider a race winnable for either side unless it's close and the polls are showing a clear winner. With Harris, I don’t think the evidence ever pointed clearly in one direction or the other. It looked like a tossup before election night, and in retrospect, the polling looks like it was pretty good.

I'll be honest here: I thought/said exactly the same thing. I thought Trump might win it, but until the results started to come in, I never dreamed it would be such a one-sided curb stomping. I said multiple times that this would be one of the closest elections ever, and probably decided by a relatively tiny number of votes.

Boy, was I wrong! :)

ah, so satisfying after all that bullshit. and they'll never know or understand why this happened.
but only because they dont want to. they would rather just scream racisim or mysogny rather than understand over half the people they share a country with

they are deaf to opinions that are not their own.

100%, they just won't listen because they think they're better.

it's really hilarious and shocking at some of these interpretations of what is going on. they are so far off the mark, off the pulse of what is going on.

but it's time to heal.

Most will be republicans by the next election, to be replaced with fresh younger or immigrant democrats. It’s been this way for decades, and the Republican political class are too dumb to see the long play.

i think the major difference is there are MORE young republicans than ever before, that is how far away the young male demographic has been pushed out of the political discourse.

I accept your surrender. I understand you have nothing substantive to say on this topic and can’t do anything beyond middle school insults and facile talking points.
You will deal with it.

Exactly. I was hoping for a Trump win, but never predicted it because every indicator said this race was a dead heat. America has spoken. President, House, Senate, Electoral College, and the Popular Vote. The party of inclusivity and DEI needs to take a long hard look in the mirror.

I'm very glad I don't live near DC anymore. I did in 2016 and it was nuts. My wife and I both used to work in and around DC.
Happy to be an hour away from all of that nonsense. I don't work anywhere near there anymore and my wife works remotely.

I knew whatever happened, there would be delicious seething and tears from the losing side. Time to cash in some shadenfreude

Called my super MAGA Uncle in Massachusetts and said after the
first assassination attempt.
He’s going to be the next President.
Not surprised other than figured it would
be a little tighter than that.

I remember on the day of the assassination attempt saying that was the moment Trump won the Presidency. But I never expected it to be such a crushing victory.

Check out the 1st page of Reddit. Damn, most threads are pretty much calling Trump voters uneducated and idiots. This is the reason the democrats lost: they think they’re better than the republicans, independents.

This is basically what liberal media (most of them state owned) in western europe have been doing not only for the US elections but also for the own elections (against conservatives).

Austrias most prestige liberal newspaper wrote today that Trump is Rat-Catcher (referring to the story about the Pied Piper of Hamelin) and with that they compared all his voters to rats.

Your girl took one HELL of a beating! Losing to Trump is humiliating enough, but she couldn't even win the Popular Vote! Kamala was an even worse candidate than Hilary - that one has to sting, boys! <lol> <lmao>

My apologies to any Libtards I missed. There are so very many of you. (But in the end, not quite enough ;) )

I don’t idol worship Kamala was not a good candidate. But pretending Trump was great is just fucking LOL

show me where trump was giving those people a motivational speech. Democracy was never under threat by a few dozen trespassing inbreds. But it most definitely was by democrats. Performed a coup of their own government. Cant make the shit up

Lmfao the fake elector scheme? Convincing your vp not to certify the election? Congrats trump won. But ya that’s a shitstain on democracy

Black guy here

I voted for Obama in 2008, 2012. The last two elections I voted for Drumpf.

I saw more Black men vote Republican these last two elections since I’ve been alive. Latino men too

Anyone have an idea why?
trump lied about the right things. told them schools were changing their kids' genders and immigrants were eating their pets, critical race theory is a bunch of lies, etc. dems consistently have underrated his ability to get people to vote with hate.
