The free ride for the free spirit didnt help him prepare for this stage and level of fighting.

Khamzat vs Imavov for FEB 14th(Ramadan starts FEB 17th) unless Imavov is too injured.
Fluffy/RdR can get the winner next summer.

Imavov has a futile attitude towards the title shot. He knows he can't win.

Level of competition won the fight For Saint-Denis too. That fight was a clear indication for me that there are levels to MMA.

Eh we see the inverse happen all the time too.

When Jack beat Belal his resume was

Gilbert Burns
Kevin Holland
Bassill Hafez
Randy Brown
Danny Roberts

VS

Leon Edwards
Gilbert Burns
Sean Brady
Vicente Luque
Wonderboy Thompson

Dricus and Sean would have never became champs if we just looked at their level of competition. Dricus ahead of fighting Rob and Sean ahead of the Izzy fight. Yet both dominated the much more proven fighter with a far higher level of competition.

Thats more anecdotal. BSD > Ruffy & Rinat > Gustaffson are also examples to further my point. Especially when u consider Belal's age which is always an X-factor.

In this case Imavov was actually younger than the Free-Ride.

It really is this. He won’t find the keys to victory in Europe.
I mean, Dagestan is in Europe. But, there's a few teams he can train with.

JDM's team who helped him with Belal. Aljo and Merab. Or of course Khabib/Islam.
