Economy Let's talk gas prices

These issues caused gas prices to spike

#1 cuck biden elected
#2 keystone pipeline fucked by cuck biden
#3 texas snow

so was Hitler's

holy shit could you be any more fucking racist guy????
Electric cars are more expensive and blacks have lower income so forcing people to buy more expensive cars in inherently racist...I mean, if I have learned anything from NYT and WaPo it is that plus a bunch of fake Trump quotes.

Just stop man. You're embarrassing yourself.

Yeah. We need more giant holes in the planet where companies strip mine Lithium.

Bonus points for not having the electrical infrastructure to support charging hundreds of thousands of cars or the ability to recycle all of those batteries.
How about bonus points for:
EVs suck in colder climates
There's a lack of options for commercial use
Their carbon footprint has not been proven to be smaller
They do not meet every need
Affordability is a major factor

The biggest champions of EVs live in bubbles.

Not to mention electric cars currently are too expensive for many americans. That may change, but I don't people suddenly running out to spend $40k on an EV

I spent 50k on a Mercedes.

With discounts I was regularly filling my tank for under $20.00 at the beginning of the pandemic.

I’m quite certain it has plenty to do with Biden’s policies. I was chatting with one of my dealers from Alaska the other day. Most business in the state are very much tied to the UBI system they have based on oil revenue. I floated that he must be pretty happy about the climbing prices and he replied that the prices were no help because Biden had shut down major swaths of production in the state. It just is what it is.

@Trotsky, this is another one for the "authenticity" files. Is there any chance that the guy is actually behaving as if the statement is true in a liberal sense? Like investing on that basis? But neither is this a deliberate lie. It's an authentic statement of tribal affiliation. We're better off thinking about statements as true or false (and the attribution of oil prices to Biden is obviously false) than as authentic or inauthentic.

Lots of people driving them in Northern Ontario with no issues.

Lots of people driving them in Northern Ontario with no issues.
And lots of people ride bikes to work 365. Doesn't mean it's a viable solution for the overwhelming majority of the population.

In my area there are some gas stations creeping up to $4/gallon for regular unleaded, although there are still places in the mid $3s. This is reminding back over a decade ago when gas prices where hitting mid $4s, which actually sparked many of us at work to start a car pool at the time.

They certainly are viable. Don't be daft.

Hope they keep rising so people start buying more electric cars.
Or you could just hope that electric cars get cheaper & become better. People aren’t driving gas vehicles by choice, they’re driving gas vehicles because often it’s the only option. That’s a hard concept for ignorant liberals to understand though. Especially ignorant liberals that spend their entire life in city limits where everything is close to them.
