It’s up 35% by me since November. According to this chart, it hasn’t been this high in 9 years.
I don’t know enough about gas policy to blame all of this on Biden, but I have to assume most of it can be traced back to his policies. Feel free to correct me ...

I know it always goes up in the summer, but it’s only March atm, too early for that annual rise.

It's been trending up since April 2020.

Prices went up when Bunker started his term too.

Yeah, gas prices generally have almost nothing to do with presidents. When a president someone doesn't like is in, people point it out when the prices go up and then get quiet when they go down. When a president someone does like is in, it's the opposite. Like stocks.

Does anyone remember when Gingrich and others were saying gas would be $10/gallon if Obama won in 2012. Oops! :)

It's been about $5 more to fill up now. Not a huge increase.

Hope they keep rising so people start buying more electric cars.

Yeah. We need more giant holes in the planet where companies strip mine Lithium.

Bonus points for not having the electrical infrastructure to support charging hundreds of thousands of cars or the ability to recycle all of those batteries.

Not to mention electric cars currently are too expensive for many americans. That may change, but I don't people suddenly running out to spend $40k on an EV

Gas prices and illegal border crossings are up, taxes are going up as well as inflation, federal spending is going up and stock prices are down. Welcome to quid pro Joe's America.

Yet his approval is through the roof.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with wholesale gas stockpiles accumulated through the pandemic being depleted, pandemic measures being relaxed, massive disruptions due to Texas's faulty infrastructure and stock dorks gambling on oil futures.

It must be because Joe Biden became President last November.
