Lets talk fishing

I feel like I am the only one that keeps posting fish pics. I go at least two times a week, and have been killing it lately

Hit my lake at five am this morning. Bite was slow at first, but I didn’t get to work my usual areas because loads of kayaks and boats began showing up. So I had to race to my favorite spots. Caught three, lost two that broke me off. Since I started fishing again, I have for the fifth time, broken my pb largemouth-third time in three weeks.

Caught this 22 inch 4 lb largemouth on a buzzbait and I had cast over booms that keep logs away from the dam. So I had a hell of a fight to get her in and had to time her jumps to pull her over the three foot booms:

Today’s edition. Caught four, nothing special. The biggest I hooked into was around three+ pounds. She didn’t hit hard and I thought she was small but she was swimming at me and when she saw the boat, she took off and peeled drag and wrapped me around a tree. That’s like four fish to do that to me in the last two days. Little pricks

The biggest was on a berkley choppo that I custom painted with perm markers and the others on plastics. No love for the buzzbait today. I post on an area fishing fb page and I have guys reaching out to me to teach them my ways. One guy met me today and I got him on some fish after he skunked they last four times out. My good deed of the day

Jeez man!

I'm moving next to you! :)

I've been craving to go deep sea fishing again for a while now

I've caught a shark, a sponge, a jellyfish, puffer fish, eel, piece of coral, and of course some delicious big ass fish.

Its always a trip dropping the line and focusing on just how fucking long it sinks....so deep

Seeing as my photo of a bass and the scale last Week were questioned by people on fb as to whether it was 2.5 or 3.5Lbs because it was so dark the scale is not readable-but I lean more towards 2.5 because People were so certain. They were dicks about it to be sure saying “why you tryin to pass off a 2 lb fish for 3.5 lb fish? Well, dickhead, I posted the pic of the scale because I was unsure-if you can clearly see it’s a 2, then good for you-I questioned it. That fish is the smallie at the top of the page. I will repost it next to my new pb smallie ot 3.0 lbs with proof. CBB3BF17-A334-46DF-82A7-FD4CCE1C329C.jpeg

And compare the 2.5 with the 3.0 fish now 2.5 is top pic. 872AEB11-F211-420C-A1F5-15236D3EB4DD.jpeg08C707DC-D4F3-4059-958B-4CA415D60894.jpeg

For our 16th anniversary, together 21 years now, the wife and I went to the wilds in Ohio-a nature preserve that has all kinds of exotic large mammals-giraffes, rhinos, giant camels, and all manner of hoofed critters. We rode horses and she booked a fishing safari that was cool. We fished a lake that had eight pound bass, but I caught only small bass between 1-2 lbs. lots of top water strikes.

I just got a job at an outdoor store, and I work in the fishing department.

I've never been fishing before. Any good beginner YT channels/videos I can look into?

Hey man, nice hauls!

Just went out a few days ago and caught a 6.5 lb largemouth off of a 5” senko and a weighted wacky hook. I believe it’s a 20 acre runoff pond for a big subdivision or something.

On vacation next week. Heading to Chandos Lake in Ontario. Supposed to have good pike and bass. I'm a terrible fisherman though so I will probably get skunked on anything big. Got a boat for the week and will be doing some slow trolling and casting shorelines and docks.
