Let's talk 'bout Johnny Walker and his future...

Could be a good thing for him, that loss. Anderson lost some fights brutally and has improved, I think, because of them.
Definitely, he got embarrassed big time, clowning as he was getting hit.

He should definitely learn from this and shore up some of the obvious glaring holes he has, too bad we didn’t really get to see his grappling.

He got TKOed by pillow fisted Corey Anderson. How do you recover from that?

I hope he learned his lesson and don't go full Cocksalt, I still want him to beat some fools

i don't think he was pillow fisted in this particular fight. he was pissed that he was counted out by the fans and by his opponent also. he wanted to put him out, that counter was fucking fast and hard. he fought unusually aggressive here. in my opinion of course.

I don't like to question a fighter's chin prematurely but I was really surprised by how easily he got rocked and how poorly he reacted to it. That's not exactly a trainable skill. I think he'll be a glass cannon.
He got hit with a complete bomb by Anderson. Corey put everything he had in that punch and it landed right on the chin. People with bad chins go out to that type of thing.

One thing I learned during the Nate Diaz post fight press conference was Nate brought up the walker fight, and said when you get hit like that, you just have to try to recover. He said you never want to try to fire back like walker did because that’s when he really got hurt. Every time Nate has been hurt, he goes down and recovers there.

Walker would learn from this for sure.

Maybe, but it was still a bomb from Corey Anderson. I'm not saying Walker is Jonathan Goulet, but it's clear that he's not going to be the most durable guy in the world. I think his early KO loss where he was basically flatlined 3 times may have compromised his chin. If he was a grappler at 170, it wouldn't be as big a liability. Fact is that he's a stand up fighter at 205 though, a division now filled with hard hitting strikers. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't take another KO loss in his next 3 fights.

Nick was actually saying that for years before Nate. As a huge fan of the Diaz bros, I've always agreed with that philosophy. You need to have good enough BJJ not only to survive takedowns, but also to just sit to guard when you're rocked if you need to. I've seen both Nick and Nate do that many times. They're honestly not as durable as everyone makes them out to be, just extremely well conditioned and they go into survival mode when they need to. I've never understood the rush to stand back up and get finished from guys who are rocked. Only a lack of faith in their Jiu-Jitsu explains it.

He will make a good highlight reel for Rumble's comeback fight. We would see him perform the inverted worm during the fight

How do you recover from being TKoed by this?
