Cali in the 80s and 90s best era of rap nice flow, nice beats. good shit

I'm West coast and I will shoot anyone repping East coast or Bad Boy.

Idunno... this autistic rap era has some good beats and hooks.

I agree it was the best but they are still making good rap today. Just hard to find with as much as being made now

Early 90's is the only rap I can deal with besides Luda

Remember this jam

I loved this song Id have my TV on BET early morning dressing up for school and this jam used to get me happy before going to school

I’m looking at the thumbnail of Snoop and I’m reminded that he wasn’t always butt-fuckin’ ugly. Also, he was once actually a good rapper.

I wonder if Pac and Big would have become complete trash like he has.

Kurupt at 3:12 is one of the Hardest / Best flows I’ve ever heard in my life. He would Destroy Every rapper in the game today skill wise:

haha I don't remember this particular song, but the video is actually pretty awesome.

I generally agree, but East coast NYC rap was nuthin to F wit til about Y2K. Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu, Nas, Kool Keith, DMX. Fuck Gay Z and Biggie was massively overrated, IMO.

I'm from Houston, so I always loved the Geto Boy and Scarface. Also, don't forget Latino rappers like Cypress Hill. They had a massive impact too.

I think just about everyone here can agree that rap has taken a major decline in quality. Rap always had many different flavor that you could pick and choose. From Southern rap, to horrorcore to alternative rap to white rappers. East coast vs. West coast. Gangasta rap to mainstream. That was what was so great about it.

RIP rap music.

As far as production goes we're in another golden age lyrically not so much. We're due to come full circle soon enough though so just hang out!
