Dana White put the UFC 36 million dollars in the hole soon after convincing the Fertita's to buy it.

Dana wanted to sell the company for 2 million dollars instead of doing TUF 1, and was hell bent against the idea of doing a reality show.

Nice deduction bruh but that's not at all what I'm trying to say, I'm saying that it's insane that a scrub like Sapp could TKO a kickboxing legend like Hoost not only once (which could be considered a fluke) but twice under K-1 rules which heavily favor Hoost

Late 30's or early 40's, I think. We just watched it a couple of weeks ago, but I don't remember his exact age at the time.

When UFC 110 took place in Sydney, elbows were illegal under the combat sports act in the state. They got around it by pretending they were forearm strikes.
 
Ian McCall vs Mighty Mouse first fight was meant to go an extra round to decide the winner in the flyweight tournament, but the cards were read as a win for MM and the round never took place.

I'm pretty sure Melten Bowen from UFC 4 was the first one too where those gloves.

Boxing champions Roberto Duran, Matthew Saad Mohammed, Trevor Berbick and James Toney have all had MMA matches.

Anderson Silva almost retired back in his pride days. He was unsatisfied with his career and told his friend and training partner Minotauro Nogueira that he wanted to retire. Nogueira talked him out of it and convinced him to continue pursuing his dreams of being a champion.
