It is heartening that a majority of the Trump damage so far is bein felt in the deepest of Red areas in the deep red States.
The places where for decades Dems and Republicans alike have set up gov't offices to provide employment to these, often poorest of regions.

What we know for certain is that magats would not only not feel sympathy if this damage was primarily hitting Blue areas but they would celebrate it. It is a large part of why they voted for Trump in the belief 'he wants to hurt the people i want to hurt'.

What we also know for certain is that basically the only time magats can give empathy or relate to anything is when it impacts them or their family directly (such as having a gay kid), and as such the biggest solace we can take from this hitting the poorest of deep red areas is that many magats will now feel some regret and possibly empathy.

The fact that so many of these magats being fired, laid off or losing needed benefits are being attacked, if they post on Twitter (X) or Truth Social telling their story, as being 'fake' Trump supporters and 'Dem's in disguise', even in R+25 areas where you would not find a Dem voters, is another thing to be heartened by. Again magats on magat hating is the only path that may lead to small percent of them waking up to how damaging their dance with this cult has become.
