I don't think anyone would complain if Chimaev got the next shot. A Belal rematch is also an option. They never ran back the NC.

While Martys defeat opened the door up for Colby to get a title shot the reason he was ranked 1st despite his inactivity is his close losses to the champ. Martys not the champ anymore those losses don't hold up his resume as much and he's been pretty inactive. Not clear at all Colby should be next.

Champs should be able to choose their challenger(within reason) if there isn't a clear number 1 or IC.

Those who are defending him are forgetting he doesn’t want Colby, he wants Masvidal who Colby just dominated and Usman dominated twice.

He’s clearly ducking Colby to get a very winnable money fight which worse than giving Colby the shot because Colby just dominated Masvidal
