That's why MMA is fun, being more skilled doesn't guarantee you anything.

I know if the fight does go down, JDM will be on the front foot backing up Leon to the cage and unloading combinations with the intent to actually end the fight. Leon is far too comfortable at distance fighting that it's got to the point where his style has become too reliant on it, Belal was actually tagging him up on boxing range.

I want JDM to win, but Leon is slick and fast.

I agree, JDM needs to show championship heart, and pour on the gas, to beat Leon. He's not going to outbox him.

JDM appears to have this, though, as he pulled a victory over Burns at the last second. He is also a finisher, and if he hurts Leon, I think he can KO him.

Interesting fight, but has the level to be super exciting (if JDM pulls it off), or super boring (if Leon is "safety first" to a annoying decision).
 
Very curious to see how JDM handles someone like Leon who utilizes his kick and clinching game well
Leon will also exploit JDM's TDD if he can as well I think
 
Great fight, JDM is one fighter who's return I'm super excited for. I'll take JDM Rd 3 TKO.

Leon is a boring point fighter. Need to see Prates punish Leon for his boriingness. Leon vs JDM is too even of a matchup. I want to see Leon get brutalized.
 
Leon is fucked. He shouldn’t have accepted this fight. He should have asked for an easier opponent like Colby.
 
Leon's gonna Leon his way to victory. I like JDM but I think this is the fight that shows he's not elite.

A fear of mine, as I like JDM.

However, I also see this possibly in the reverse: Leon winning early, until JDM catches them late, almost KO in him in the last round.
 
With leon falling off its the perfect time for jdm to win
