So you approve of barely legal? Think that’s totally fine? Ok.

What kind of question is that?

Barely legal is legal. Legally old enough to fuck then old enough to do porn.

This documentary has to rank up there with Loose Change and The Blaire Witch Project.

Always try to get two sides of the story. Too many documentaries pick a side and stick with it. I'm not saying MJ is innocent of everything, but try not to let one's self get swayed by a single source (look at Paradise Lost and West of Memphis and how they shilled for Echols and his pals and didn't try to let the viewer come to their own conclusion).

I didn't think anything in their story is that unbelievable, they didn't seem like they were lying to me, pretty fucked up story overall though.

So these guys swore under oath that they weren't sexually abused by MJ, yet all of the sudden have a change of heart 10 years after he dies and can't defend himself? If they're genuine and are doing this for justice, why would they sue for 100 million dollars?

You guys should research subjects like this before gathering an opinion based on the very one-sided headlines. It's very sketchy.

When I was a adolescent, there was a 30 something guy that would hang around. He loved comics and toys and had issues forming friendships with adults. He related to kids. He would trade baseball cards, go to shows etc. He had a job and rented a floor in a house. Kids were in and out all the time. He would take kids to movies, ball games etc. always was playing video games etc. He never drank or was inappropriate. He was weird in that he wasn’t a typical man, but he would never harm a fly. The parents knew and trusted him. Years later he married a woman, but they never had kids as they were older. Funny thing is that if there were a guy like that in my town now, I wouldn’t let my kids near him, and that would be wrong. In all the years, no one ever said a bad word about him.

Anyone see the first part of this documentary on HBO tonight? It's about the kids Michael Jackson abused. I didn't know the extent of how messed up he was. Befriended kid after kid... having them do all sorts of weird stuff and sex acts with him.

What a sick bastard that guy was.

Growing up there was an old man in my neighborhood between the ages of 70-80 that used to play tag and dodgeball with all the neighborhood kids. His granddaughter was a friend of mine. He invited us into his home for ice cream or cookies sometimes. Nothing inappropriate ever happened. I just remember it being weird to my parents that an old man was running around with kids but the guy was one of the kindest people I had ever met.

yeah some old men are like that.. especially guys who've never had children. What i don't understand is how would a parent allow his son to go sleep over at some old dude's house.

I love Eminem for example. Been a fan of him ever since the real slim shady came out, but I would never allow my son to sleep over at his house lol
Just shows the mentality of these parents, irresponsible at best

Yes, exactly. There are lines, and sleepover with grown men are a great example.

I dunno man. Neverland Ranch looked like fun. I'd play horsie if I got to ride the real horses after.

I think we've been conditioned to think that weird automatically makes you guilty. MJ was incredibly weird, but I'm not sure if that makes him a :eek::eek::eek:.

Y'all are sharing stories, so I'll share one. There was this dude when I was in middle school in H.S. He was the janitor of my school and he was the drummer for the church. Super cool guy. He was single, had a cartoonish high pitched voice, and some folks thought he was weird. He'd always hang out with the students to talk about comic books or sci-fi stuff like superheroes. He'd buy you a coke if you were just hanging around. There was a group of us that he particularly felt close to and he would take us to the movies if it was a superhero flick or something like LOTR. I remember he took some of us to go see X-Men 2 back in the day.

He was never inappropriate, always polite, but parents who were new to the school took issue with him and tried to get him fired for stupid, false allegations. Current students and students who had been years graduated came out of the woodwork to defend this guy. Come to find out the parents were just jealous cause their kid talked about this dude so much.

I say all that to say this. There are some weird people out there. There are definitely :eek::eek::eek:s out there too. But we've been so conditioned to believe that odd behavior or weird people are somehow evil and have this underlying plot to hurt others. That's not always the case. Sometimes folks are just goodhearted people who genuinely do nice things for others.

I watched episode one

I believe the evidence at the case. Wade and the other guy seem rehearsed

Like it took them 6 weeks to film
To make sure they got it right.

As opposed to this is you opening up for the first time.

Hollyweird Is pure evil these days

Whatever Michael did or didn’t do I don’t care. He made thriller. Thriller.

He’s the goat

With all of the television, comic books, and movie discussions...

You basically just described 95% of Mayberry posters..

Michael Jackson was 100% a weird fucking dude. Normal adult males don't hang out with kids like that.

But there is not enough proof to call him a sexual predator. This doesn't seem nearly as solid as the Cosby and R Kelly cases.

Shit, you get dirty looks being a grown man at a playground watching YOUR OWN CHILD. I am a teacher so I have some time off in the summer and when my daughter was young I'd take her to the park and get the side eye from busybody SAHM's. I get being vigilant about potential predators and weirdos but ppl nowadays are so quick to assume any male adult around kids is some kind of pederast...

Ok so I just watched EP 1 and damn it sounded like bullshit!
Obviously we would never know for sure, but that documentary actually worked the opposite for me. Just a good ole money grab
