Universal basic income will surely lead to quick destruction of society or slavery. I used to work with many truly stupid lazy assholes and they don't deserve shit. I don't like the idea of those shits reaping benefits while smart people do all the work.

UBI won't be enough to where every person gets to live lavishly or even comfortably.

It's meant to be a supplemental pay to make up for lack of work availability. So in 2025, it could be something like $20,000 for every adult.

Lazy assholes wouldn't be able to find work anyway so instead of leeching off parents, friends, spouses or getting involved in criminal activity, they'd use their UBI check to just survive. Nothing wrong with that.
