Last Words From Death Row Inmates

It's easy to get angry reading some of the fucked up shit these people did then reading "I am going to be with my lord now, I am so happy and full of love."

There probably is not a heaven or a hell, but it's nuts that these people can actually convince themselves that if there is really a heaven that they would get to go there. But then again, fear can cloud people's mind, maybe deep down they know they are fucked.

I'm not much of a religious person; even if I have lived/seen something that can't be explained by our science, and makes me no choice but to know that their is a afterlife of some sort: it's not about blind faith when you have been a witness.

That's like if some old island tribe dude a long time ago saw some "white people" coming from the eternal see on giant monsters of wood, they seem to be made out of metal and their have magical boom-sticks that can decide if a person die or not, and their hair are GOLD color dude!....

Like these guys for example, if one of them told this to the guy next-island next-tribe after the colons left, he will be all high-and-mighty "hoho how can you believe such childish things, muh superior intellect can't accept that, surely their was mass-hysteria or some godly mushrooms in the village's food, it's more plausible that some alien invasion! Let's go fishing, you'll forget all that crap eventually, you'll see, not believing in anything even when you have concrete proof is the way to go man"

Now about Hell, what I find fucked up if wishing that on anybody. Eternal constant torture, physical and mental, by a bunch of imps who know their jobs.
And the best part is ...you never get used to it!
Even if a guy killed several people, truly wishing that future for him is kind of fucked/sadistic.
A few years or torture in some purgatory should be enough to "clean you up"

I think 80/90 years of this treatment should be enough.

I hope one of the guards punched Lisa Coleman in the mouth after her statement. Saying she loved her son and loves this and that. She restrained a 9 year old until he starved to death - just shut the fuck up and die already.

This is why the death penalty and life sentences should be abolished. You are killing reformed men.

If you're a Christian you believe everyone can be forgiven. Its a major part of the religion.

There are some simple rules in life. Not killing other people is one of them. If you cant control yourself in society, and kill someone, you deserve to be executed.

Yeah, if anything, these quotes just go to show that even murderers are susceptible to the delusions of religion. "It says right in the bible that you go to heaven (no matter what you've done) as long as you just say you're sorry at the last moment"

The hilarity of the situation is how your average religious person would have to admit that they're going to share heaven with these people because that's exactly what it says in the bible.

Religion gonna religion.

Nah, this is why convicted serial killers and :eek::eek::eek:philes that openly admit their crimes should be automatically put to death without any exception. Death row shouldn't even exist. Get rid of the trash with minimal cost to the tax payers.

“I did not get SpaghettiOs, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know about this.”

- Thomas J. Grasso's last words.

Ah, and Grasso died in my home state, I see. Figures they'd fuck him over.

I think no man is beyond redemption or forgiveness.

How about Hitler?

Bin Laden?

McVeigh?

Maybe forgiveness from God, but their fellow man, friends and loved ones of their victims? Absolutley not.

But on a positive note, I found this particularly moving.

"Thank you for being here. I am sorry for all of the pain that I have caused my family, friends, and extended family. Especially to the Police Officers, I know you probably hate me. What happened between me and Rocky happended too fast. I didn't know what happened. I wish y'all peace and love. I hope you have found God just like I have. God bless y'all. I will see you on the other side. I love you."

Yea I don't think any of these are beyond forgiveness from neither man nor God. The person it would take to muster it up is another question.

Ultimately, forgiveness is something you do for yourself, not for someone elses sake.

Holding on to hate and wrong doings is not doing yourself any favors.

It has nothing to do with hate, but everything to do with justice.
And no, executions are not because of hate. They're performed because they need to be done.

Yea I know that, we were talking about forgiveness, not justice.

we should use the death penalty far more often and it should be a quicker and less costly process for some of these murder cases where there is no doubt on guilt.
