Sting and Billy Joel was okay. It was cold and rainy and I felt like it took the crowd out of it a bit. Not to mention Billy didn't sound as good as he usually does.

How was Coachella? I heard attendence was down.

It was still pretty fun. Even if the line up isn’t great(like this year) it’s a good festival. I probably spent over 2k for the weekend lol. Gonna sleep and be a pos all day today and all week at work now.

Been contemplating it. Agalloch reunited, and it is probably my top band that I never got to see.

Never been to one though. Is it hosted at the same place every year? How are the facilities/grounds there?

theyve got a website out there. https://www.deathfests.com/
its been hosted at the same few venues the past few years. Baltimore Soundstage, Rams Head Live and Power Plant Live. i think they have an outdoor stage there too now. all in downtown Baltimore, a city which i cant stand for a lot of reasons. if not for MDF i wouldnt go there.
the fest is always worth it though. lots of great bands playing each day. im looking forward to quite a few but particularly Sodom (theyre playing the whole Agent Orange album), Cryptopsy (playing all of Blasphemy Made Flesh), Dismember and Ripper. i saw Cryptopsy back when i was a teenager with their old lineup and ive never seen the other 3 live.

One of my buddies hit me up about Mudvayne...with Megadeth?(wtf). But, I recently got Alice Cooper tickets for August, and for the 4th year in a row my "next" is Welcome to Rockville..two weeks away!

Finally got to Rockville tonight. (Day 3)

It was pretty "heavy" on nostalgia today if you wanted it to be. So I went that route and saw Stone Temple Pilots, Primus, Helmet, Clutch, Queens of the Stone Age, and Foo Fighters.

Day 4 tomorrow.

Wow! I'd be all in if I were in the area. I got to see Suicidal Tendencies with Infectious Grooves back in the day when Robert Trujillo was still with the band. I took this pic of Jimbo last time the Rev came through. Would definitely like to see them again. They put on a great show

That’s a killer lineup! I wouldn’t even care if Glenn stormed off the stage again,pissed off (like I’ve watched him do live before). Normally out of principal I would be like f that guy. Seeing the misfits with Michael Graves though just didn’t hit right,he was just “ok” for the time being.

Never seen ST live either! Hyped for that.

Went to Bush/Candlebox/Jerry Cantrell tonight.

Jerry was amazing as always, whoever he has singing with him on this tour sounds a lot like Layne. Couple of Jerry's new singles sound good too.

Bush sounded good but Gavin Rossdale sounded like he was either auto tuned or lip syncing through most of the show. Although he did run up into the crowd at one point and was standing exactly two rows behind me.

Pretty sure Greg Puciato is doing vocals with Jerry - good choice, saw them live a bit over a year ago.

Dark Tranquility was good. Played some older stuff, so that was pretty nifty. Next up in October, going to see Testament with Kreator and Possessed. Gonna be lit, as the kiddos say.
