Concert/Live Last/Next Concert(s) and tour/show announcement thread

Let us know how G'nR was.

Just saw this bro. Well overall it was pretty good, my wife told me during it that tickets were $236 bucks though, it wasn't worth that but whatever I guess. It was at a big cricket ground, not a lot of atmosphere generally speaking but it got better as it got dark.

Axl was very patchy, had a lot of breaks, probably 2-3 songs then just Slash soloing or a cover song with Duff etc. But when he was on it was great, November Rain and Civil War were pretty epic.

I think part of the problem was I saw Gojira at a small venue two nights before, they're a band at their peak and firing on all cylinders, was fantastic. Then seeing an over the hill act at a huge stadium was never really going to be mindblowing.

Even at the beginning of the tour, when I saw them in July, they were trying to give Axl as much of a break as possible.

I was amazed at the sound quality and visuals but keep in mind I hadn't been to a large stadium show since 1993. LOL.

anyone seen Yard Act or Fontains DC live?

They are playing a festival where Turnstile is playing who im also really keen to see

Going to proper in San Diego this weekend. Some house/edm fest which isnt really my thing but there should be lots of San Diego dimes there.

have tickets for magic city hippies, tove lo, Caroline rose, unknown mortal orchestra, stagecoach and coachella for early-mid next year. Hoping some more rock concert opportunities present themselves.

Omnium Gatherum in March

And Insomnium + Enslaved in April

They announced a tour today of:
Mastodon
Gojira
Lorna Shore

At one point or another I've been a fan of all three bands. Big mistake for the top two acts, who have been resting on their laurels for years to take out Lorna who is hungry/one of the biggest up and comers in the scene. There are going to be many nights that even as 3rd on the bill, that they blow both headliners off the stage.

@Nameless Ghoul I saw that too and was about to ask here if any of you guys fancy that gig :D would love to have this package for a Euro tour aswell  agree with Lorna Shore. Saw them last year when they opened for Parkway Drive and that was just impressive.

Ride and The Charlatans, tonight (if I get out of this traffic).

Went to see Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks last Friday at SoFi stadium. I was pretty impressed with how well Stevie has held up and with how she sounds at 74.

Next concert is the Chili Peppers here in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium in may.

Cody Jinks May 20th.
Daily’s Place Jacksonville Fl.
Pretty excited for this one.

I remember seeing this clip a few years back. It's from a movie he was making called Journey Through the Past that turned out to be a huge flop, lol. I'd still like to see it.
You should be able to find it my man. Maybe via record collector online. I have a friend who burned it for me on dvd a while back. I may have loaned it to someone and not gotten it back. It's pretty funny for big Neil fans like us. If I find it I'll let you know. I'd be happy to send it to you.

Single day Metallica tickets went sale for Fan Club members today, and I was able to snag some for the show with Pantera at Ford Field in November.
Oh man have fun. Ford Field heck yes. Detroit rock city.

Got tix today for this show April 20. 4/2O. Hell to the yeah. It was a good day. I didn't even have to use my AK.

Thats dope, Ive been to this show a couple times with different versions of this West Coast All Stars lineup, once in Oakland and once in San Jose, never seen Rodney O & Joe Cooley on the tour though

I got tickets to this one later on in the summer

Hey that's awesome Pliny Pete. Yeah I'm looking forward to it. My friend and I are listening to a lot of west coast rap in prep for the show.
