Yep. It was reported in the news during the incident. Pretty fucked up right? I was always interested to see if he ever said anything political or religious, but nobody seems to say anything about his account.

A white man with money and guns is unlikely to fit that description. "Information" often comes out in these situations that turns out to be completely wrong later but will still be believed by many. I could claim this is a manufactured incident to deflect the news coverage from the incidents of the past weeks but I suspect it's more tragic than that.

Despite the stereotype that democrats "hate" guns. There's plenty of Democratic gun owners. Union democrats were big 2nd amendment supporters over the years. I know quite a few democrats who like to go deer hunting in the Adirondacks and Allegheny forests during the fall. Some are even family members.

The first thing any real professional would learn is that you don't fire automatic weapons like that. They're used in controlled bursts. This asshole just picked a good vantage point and sprayed up a massive crowd. If you make guns illegal, you will need a massive federal task force to retrieve said guns. This will cost a ton of money. You will need to maintain an entire agency wing of the ATF for this. The price of illegal guns will go through the roof. This will increase the need to sell more drugs, commit more robberies. It will be very beneficial for the narcos over the border. You will need to increase all forms of police, both domestic and internationally to accomplish this. The cost would be extreme. The only place I've been able to get information from today has been the radio (Being at work). The talk show hosts are putting a hard spin on it. I've heard that isis has claimed three times that he converted but the FBI has denied any connection to isis. It's hard to know the truth when everyone is saying different things.

Did regualr cops show up at hsi door or was it a swat or something?

I was on the scanner throughout. I don't know when first shots fired, but SWAT and officers were in the hallway approximately 10:45pm. There was a lot of cross chatter leading up while they attempted to not have "blue on blue" incidents. You can look to the start of the thread to see when the breach happened live after they decided it was time. I believe it was around 11:30.
