I was just watching his fight yesterday and the guy is only 31 but I would think most believe he is closing in on 40. He was only 24 when he fought Tony Ferguson which is crazy to think about even if the guy hasn't fought the most. Anyway, the guys fun to watch but his fights feel the same as watching an old veteran who's a little shop worn compete in a young mans game.

He stinks. He would barely scrape top 10 in Bellator. Talented, but can’t put it together and never will at this point. Just like Mr. Finland.

Lando's ceiling always seemed much higher than Amirkhani. He's pretty well rounded, just not elite at anything

Amirkani has a good darce and 3 mins of cardio with horrible striking

Lol if he was born in Brasil or Africa peoples would never believe that he's that young.

Lando never fixed his inherent flaws of admiring his own offense and not having a way to progressively build offense. Also seems to always fight to his level of opposition, so he's always perceived to be over-performing or under-performing.

He's too small imo. Don't know why he doesn't fight at FW. He doesn't seem to have the power, speed or length. He's always in fights but last night he was severely outmatched with strikes. It was sad to see

I think he used to get by on his style and creativity but now he's just a short brawler with scrambles

His fights are fun, hopefully he can stay on the roster.

The legion of groove days seem like so long ago.

Fun fact Max Halloway is 9 Months older and looks considerably younger and less shop worn.

Looking at his record...

He was 8-0 when he stepped in to face Ferguson. Which is quite admirable. But his ufc record is 4-7-2. It must be very frustrating riding that fanship :(

I don't recall Vannata ever getting his D sucked during an interview. Amirkhani is pretty elite for that.

I'd say at this point that Makdessi is more deserving of still being in the promotion. Lando should be fighting in the regionals.
