Economy Landlords look for an exit amid federal eviction moratorium

Money and forbearance are already available to them through various covid relief programs.

Do want to do another stimulus?
You're clearly not getting this.

You make a program that anybody needing rent relief applies to. This would include the information of the people they owe money to. The government pays the landlords directly for the same monies owed each month.

You don't need to supply that sum to the tennant as relief, because it's been covered and the bill has been paid properly (maintaining the system). Are you guys retarded or something?

Even with the available jobs the cost of housing in many areas is skyrocketing. Landlords Jack up the rent every year even when wage do not go up for people or go up very little percentage wise compared to rent. I get people want to make money but when you have rental properties that you are paying a fixed 15 or 30 year loan on and you keep increasing the rent to pad your pockets more each year, stuff like this will happen. Renters feel exploited so they seized this opportunity to stick it to landlords.
Fair points. There are certainly greedy and shady landlords and property owners, as we're all well aware.

But that's a separate point to the problem at hand, which should be easily fixable until all moratoriums are lifted.

Yeah, they should go work for peanuts just so someone who owns a building can extract passive income from it.

No better yet, lets give them free guv handouts that equal to more than they are worth at an actual job.

You say work for peanuts, yet, we can actively improve our skills to improve workforce positions, to increase self-value and more of an hourly wage. Whether it be through college or vocational training.

No, lets give every high-school drop-out “equal-pay” and get those minimum wages over $20hr. Better yet, lets make minimum wage whatever a nurse makes (RN) why go through the trouble of schooling.

Oh you're right... Because taxes and insurance don't go up year to year... lol

Or maintenance on items like A/C, flooring, roofing, etc.... Those are all static costs that never escalate.

Oh boy... I feel you for you when you finally have to grow up and get out there on your own

So you want to do another stimulus?

No, you simply do the first one properly. Is there anything in America that isn't clown shoes anymore?

You dildos just put out a multi-trillion dollar stimulus package, primarily on stuff unrelated to getting out of your situation.....lmfao

LOL, keep circling the drain instead of listening.

I'm listening. You're not saying anything that makes any sense.

You're saying we should have zigged instead of zagged, which is no solution for the current state of things, and rather pointless.

You seem to be advocating for more stimulus but are too cowardly to just come out and say it so instead you're resorting to gaslighting and ad homs.

It should be very easy for the world's wealthiest and "smartest" (lol) nation to whip up a system that quickly puts rental costs into landlords accounts without much effort, no?

Imagine creating a middle-man process whereby you first need to deliver the stimulus to the person, who must then be trusted to fully use it for bills as intended. LOL.

The rent assistance wasn't for the renters, it was for the landlords.

Even if people move, they're still legally obligated to pay back rent.

Assistance did not go to landlords. You are a liar. It went to renters who didn't have to use it for rent.

So you think we should have a stimulus directed at landlords?

So you think we should have a stimulus directed at landlords?
Stimulus directed at? Are you thinking clearly?

The landlords aren't part of anything here. The government decided that people can't work. As such those people can't pay their bills. As such the government takes the responsibility of this on, paying the landlords directly in a very basic system. The landlords did nothing in this situation. They shouldn't even have to file a piece of paper - that responsibility is on the renter and the government.

How can you guys fuck stuff up so badly? Why is common sense so difficult for you?

Seems like you want a stimulus for just landlords but you don't want to say it.
