...and if they do get caught they'll be released the same day thanks to Prop 47 and our new DA who authored said Prop. This is happening more and more in LA, even fucking mailmen are getting robbed cause as a criminal you face zero consequences. It took a little while for the news to spread but now that every shithead knows nothing will happen, this kind of crime is just going to keep happening.

Bro... That's an even worse excuse to commit murder. Bait dogs can be grabbed up pretty much anywhere for free. You can go on Craigslist and find a dozen free dogs available if that's what you're looking for.

If they've done their homework and know the dogs belong to Gaga, they can ransom them back to her. Just like any other kidnapping. In fact, it would be a lot easier for criminals to abduct, move around etc small dogs than a human.

Gaga has offered $500,000 for the safe return of her pets. I hope this works, and that once the dogs are back with her, she speaks privately to the right people and offers the same amount of money for something bad to happen to the shit-bags responsible. And of course, best wishes to the poor bastard who was shot. I hope he makes it, but four rounds in the chest? That's some cold-blooded shit:mad:

Why can't these celebs just leave there dogs at home and have a family member dog sit whilst there away. She must live in a private gated community as her main residence and the dogs can be safely walked at anytime of the day.

I have hard time wrapping my head around the culprits being actually able to bag 500,000$ without being traced by the police, the banking system, or being outed by their accomplice if he gets arrested as he's dropping off the dogs. It's a target that's too high-profile. Very different from say kidnapping a random person in Columbia, as this is only possible because the local government and judicial system is weak. You can't really do that in the US.
 
French bulldogs are a really "hot" item right now for thieves...here in Houston they're being snatched constantly and re-sold. It's quite pathetic.

It's underground breeders, and just shitheads looking to make a quick buck selling purebreds. The dog thefts have apparently really picked up during COVID, even up here, because dogs are being sold like mad due to people being cooped up in their houses going stir crazy.

Also, doesn't the LAPD have a special unit that works cases involving celebrities? Something as high-profile as this, they are going to pull out all the stops. These criminal masterminds are going to end up either dead or in a deep, dark hole for the rest of their worthless lives.
