Highways, DVLA isn't too bad, licensing, BBC, pensions seems pretty efficient, fire service seems fine, Food standards, Valuation office, Land registry, Forestry commission, Met office off the top of my head.

I've only had a small experience with db but i was very disappointed that it didn't meet the stereotype of German logic and efficiency. Buying a ticket on a ticket was a hell of an adventure in frustration
