KZ calls out Cub

The Cub Swanson that I saw last saturday will get crushed by Aldo in a rematch even if he deserved. So FIGHT HIM !!

Stephens has a way of making great fighters look average. I think Cub will be more competitive than most think against Aldo..

That's exactly why I think that Aldo will make him look bad, I agreed that would be competitive this time.

Cain lost badly to JDS in their first fight.
Cub lost badly to Aldo when they met.

I didn't say it proves anything, but it counts.

I don't know why early KO/TKO losses get dismissed as meaningless on here, but winning an endless stream of rounds is so much more important.

Cub, in his early days, used to shoot for a TD early in a fight without setting things up.
That is what led to him losing against Aldo and Pulver.
He stopped doing that and became a top fighter, because the rest of his skillset is outstanding.

I understand that it occurred and usually indicates something about the skills of the fighters. However, My my main point is that a quick finish comes about through a lot of variables. It can't be repeated a bunch of times, mostly because there is some luck involved. A rare tactical error, a well placed shot, etc...

I guess the preference for dominating rounds is because it takes pure skill. You can't really keep getting lucky for 25 minutes straight. It is probable to get lucky for a split second. That's my interpretation anyways.
