the fact that it is uniform along the earth's surface is damning evidence of a "spherical" earth (it's actually lightly flatter at the poles). The earth cannot be a disk of uniform thickness, it's density or thickness would have to vary or the earth would have to be insanely large with us only ever visiting a minute central region.

No one can confirm this for themselves. No one has the budget to fact check them we only have to take their word for it. As I told someone else if the Earth were truly rotating West to East then Westward flights would be MUCH shorter and no one would do an Eastward flight unless the destination was very close because Eastward flights are traveling with the rotation of the Earth.

Not true. A toilet or sinks drains based on the shape of the basin not because of the Earth's rotation. If the Earth's rotation controlled something as simple as the movement of the water in your toilet or sink drains then there should be no still body of water on the planet.

If you're going straight east or west, the effect disappears altogether. The Coriolis effect exists because the equator is spinning much faster than the poles. It's greatest going south to north or vice versa because your natural momentum if you take off at the equator is taking you west much faster than the Earth is spinning 20 degrees of latitude north of it. Going straight east or west your momentum never differs from your path.

And snipers are dealing with a very limited field. They just memorize based on degree and distance. They don't have to make complex calculations.
