i don't really like this sort of stuff.

if the Mueller investigation's primary thrust is to investigate malfeasance in the Trump campaign vis a vis its cooperation with Russian agents to disrupt the recent elections - or any coverup relating to the matter, thats terrific. i am all for it, and i think its a legitimate concern no matter which party holds the reigns of power.

beyond that, i get that its always a good thing to uncover criminal activity - but i consider this all tangential to the praemissa originale, you know? at this point, it should be completely decoupled from the POTUS, but that's not how it will play out, optically.

i didn't like it when Starr investigation wandered aimlessly, like some marauding tank - and i didn't like it when Gowdy's multi million dollar investigation meandered far afield (emails!!! private servers!!!!! ARRRRGHHHH!!!!!!).

i don't much like it now either.

I think Mueller is staying much more focused than Starr, and I also think this is a much more serious matter than a fucking land deal in Arkansas.

Also also, Mueller is a lifetime Republican. Starr was a Republican operative after a Democratic President. Starr was fishing, Mueller is actually doing a reasonable, thorough investigation.

That's got to be a hard no for me, dog.
