I dont know why its so hard for people to accept he killed himself. All he ever did was complain about life.
The whole justice for kurt thing is a bunch of crap.
"He was on a letal dose of heroin"
He was a fuckin rockstar. Kinda like an alcoholic can function with a bac of .4 when thats gonna put a normal person passed out. Do 8balls of heroin everyday you can be alert on a high dose
This video even the guy admits it wouldnt be hard to do. If youve ever held a shot gun you could for sure shoot yourself in the face if you wanted to.
Soaked in Bleach is a great doc that really goes deep into this topic. Found it free on YT, if anyone wants to check it out.
who's aic? I'd pick all the decades from the fifties up to the 80's as far better than any decade since. The conspiracies are dumb and it's dumb to think anything other than he killed himself
Also... The era between 1990-1994 is the goat imo. Who cares about the "grunge" label. Siamese Dream is my favorite album of all time. Pearl Jam is my favorite band and Janes Addiction and AIC were some of the most talented bands of all time.

I guess it's all a matter of perspective and your age too I suppose. I think current rock music has been pretty bad for a while now.... But we still have bands like The Strokes, Arctic monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, and The White Stripes post 2000.who's aic? Original working title for "In Utero" was "I Hate Myself and I Want To Die".Agreed. Not only that but he was just released from the hospital a bit before this because he purposefully od’d on H.
He was depressed, hopelessly addicted to drugs, and struggled from intense stomach pain that no Dr could explain. He also had multiple attempts on his life at this point.. dude killed himself. It’s sad, but it’s what happened.
To add to this even Krist and Dave don’t buy into these dumbass theories. And they hate Courtney with a fiery passion.

I saw courtnet loves band Hole play some big sxsw party like 15 years ago and..Original working title for "In Utero" was "I Hate Myself and I Want To Die".
As for the theory that a drugged out mess of a woman like Courtney Love was some criminal mastermind who pulled off the perfect murder...

I think that is a large part of any fad, the part about a generation just craving something different to call their own. Let's face it, kids really don't know what's being marketed to them for the most part in terms of quality. Image and marketing have a huge role. I consider myself very fortunate to grow up in the era I did, MJ, Prince, Springsteen were all formidable artists.
I guess, I did give him credit as a writer and he was an ok singer but he wasn't really good at much else. Compared to what I'd seen before it just didn't seem all that impressive.Paul McCartney and David Bowie are about as formidable as it gets in the music world and they loved what Cobain was doing and even expressed interest in working with him.
Art is subjective but your commentary in this thread on Cobains prowess as a writer, musician, and his impact in this arena is pretty jaded.
Now there's a fucking band sir!“He was a Junkie!!”
Buzz from the Melvin’s

Morrison was a dickhead in those LA circles in the 60s and a lot of people didn't like him. But being a raging alcoholic will do that. Morrison is still overrated as a singer but the doors as whole were an extremely talented band. Robby's slide guitar and Ray's keys just worked in a way that hadn't been heard before. I suggest you take a listen to the first two albums and LA Woman.never too into morrison either, always mean to listen to more of the doors but never get around to it. It's ironic that morrison never wanted to be a star (if that's true) he really made being pretentious and posturing a thing in rock music. Before the 60's, the theory is that most rockers were blissfully unware of exactly what they did, which, is of course not 100 percent true but has a lot of truth to it.

LA Woman is a top five favorite all time song for me.
dying when he did might have helped but yes, there was talk even when he was alive that he was a lennon for his generation, i could see that. I personally wouldn't put him in the ranks of the many greats that i love but that's just me.I’m ok with the opinion. That’s how you feel.
But you can’t deny he was well regarded by not just his peers, but also well established legends who came before him. Nirvana is also without a doubt one of the most important bands in music history whether or not you like them is another story. But they had a huge impact on musical landscape even if that’s not what they set out to do.
