They catch a lot of shit, often deservedly so.

Right now though, they are making the news primarily for one reason: Taking a bulldozer to the temple of steroids. Short term this is going to hurt the popularity of the sport, long term it will increase the legitimacy.

Regardless of how they bungled the Anderson situation, they are starting to catch PED abusers. They have caught some big names recently.

Without random out of competition tests fighters can use steroids more or less with impunity. That is less true now.
