Damn.. Good think Pulev saw Mir out on his feet and pulled back punches.Mir said that the doctors told him that if he were to taken one more punch, he could've been paralyzed.

Celebrity boxing and old fighters getting hammered isn't sport, it's stupidity.
Not really, Mir has 1000% the wear on him than Ngannou does and a horrific motorcycle accident too.Makes you kinda worry about Ngannous safety, you know?
Why the fight was sanctioned is another story.. But he got a million dollars anyway. Not bad. With all due respect, Mir had no business fighting anyone after all the damage he had sustained over his long and storied career. By the time he faced Pulev, Frank was 2 years retired from competition, having made his MMA debut 20 years prior. I hope he makes a full recovery and stays retired this time.
I agree - no way it should have been sanctioned. Problem is, for every retired big-name fighter, there's at least 2 unscrupulous promoters who are ready to throw money at them for "one last fight", and these promoters seem to often find a sanctioning body that is willing to look the other way.Why the fight was sanctioned is another story.. The Texas Athletic Commission has a reputation.I agree - no way it should have been sanctioned. please dont compare Ngannou's striking or chin to Mir's, Ngannou would do the same thing to mir in a boxing match
